Learning with Confidence Together
As you are now no doubt aware the government has announced that schools across the country will close on Friday afternoon for the foreseeable future to all children other than those of key workers and the most vulnerable.
Two letters have been sent out via Parent Hub earlier today one outlining what the school has planned including the provision of work packs, the second clarifying issues concerning key workers.
Both these letter are also posted in the Virtual office on our website
A Google Form has also been circulated on Parent Hub which needs to be completed by key workers - here it is:

Work packs are being brought home by your children and they are also available on our website:

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation concerning the actions we are taking. We will continue to update you as and when we have further news.
The school is aware of the recent government announcement that schools across the country will close on Friday afternoon for the foreseeable future to all children other than those of key workers and the most vulnerable.
We will be providing further information for parents / carers through the usual channels as soon as possible.
World Book Day on Thursday 5 March saw the children, teachers and staff dressed as their favourite characters from their favourite books.
The parade which is usually outside was this year, due to the rain, held in the Gym. The applause of parents was constantly filling the Gym in recognition of so many impressive outfits … well done to children and parents for some very creative ideas and outfits.
Our visiting German teacher, Selina, told Sycamore class all about German fairy tales helped by the characters stuck on her!
DEAR was in operation throughout the day ... DEAR is Drop Everything And Read. Every time a bell was rung children stopped anything they were doing and read their books for ten minutes.
