  • Easter Bonnet Parade

    Wed 28 Mar 2018

Reception and Year 1 children delighted parents on Wednesday 28 March with their Easter Bonnet parade. The children looked fabulous with their bonnets decorated with chicks, eggs, feathers, bunny ears, and in one case- REAL carrots!

Parents were then treated to a medley of Easter songs.

Thank you to everyone who helped the children look so fantastic.

  • World book day 2018

    Thu 01 Mar 2018

Pupils and staff beat the weather on World Book Day to really brighten up the day with an impressive range of literary characters arriving at school.

At some times during the day the school looked as though it had turned into Hogwarts and some very special magic resulted in at least ten Harry Potters and several Hermiones and Rons in class .

There were superheroes and animals everywhere as well as Gangsta Granny, the Demon Dentist, Biggles, Billionaire Boy, the Cat in the Hat, Snow White, Paddington, Oliver Twist and many more.

The school office turned into Wonderland with Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts all very busy as usual.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we hope the children will be inspired to read more about the characters they met on World Book Day. There will be the perfect opportunity to get the best new books at pocket-money prices at the Book Fair organized by FOSP before and after school in the Pavilion on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 March.
