  • Stanley through to Top Class Final

    Congratulations to Declan, Mia, Flynn, Eliza and Mrs LT!

     

    Another impressive performance saw the team beat Seaside School 31-23 in their semi-final and they now go through to the Top Class final which will be screened on CBBC at 9:30am on Sunday 4th November when Stanley take on Cardwell School.

  • Fossil finders in Year 3

    Budding Archeologists Harper M, Daisy W and Gabriella V, who are all in 3MW, discovered an ammomonite on the school site.

     

    The girls were searching for "interesting things" one lunch time and discovered a partially buried ammonite close to the Pirate Playgound. 

     

    Their research has shown that it was a sea creature and could be 27,000 years old!

  • Spam Sandwiches for Year 6 Evacuess

    As part of Year 6's World War II topic they dressed as evacuees and enjoyed a street party with Spam and Jam sandwiches!
  • Stanley through to Top Class semi-final

    Another impressive win by Stanley Year 6 pupils Declan, Flynn, Eliza and Mia means they move on to the semi-final in CBBC's Top Class Quiz.

     

    In the quarter-final Stanley came out 42-21 winners against Cedar Park ... with Mrs LT scoring an impressive 4 points in the teacher round.

     

    Congratulations to the Top Class team ... the pupils have now moved on to their senior schools as the quiz was filmed in May 2018 but is now just being screened on the CBBC channel on Sunday mornings or you can view the quarter-final on BBC i-Player:

  • Junior Citizen Scheme - Year 6

    Year 6 visited Bushy Park as part of the Junior Citizen Scheme.

     

    This scheme gives young children the skills to deal with a wide range of emergency situations. It can also help children contribute to their community through good citizenship.

     

    It provides children with realistic scenarios and encourages them to think through the problems and resolve them. The Junior Citizen scheme includes using public transport, basic first aid, safety by water, road safety and health issues.
