You will find a list of items available on the Skoolkit website: www.skoolkit.co.uk
The current uniform includes either red or emerald green summer dresses, sweatshirts and cardigans, with white or red polo shirts. Following a consultation with parents and children we have decided to move towards red sweatshirts and cardigans, and white polo shirts. We would prefer sweats and cardigans to have the Stanley logo. Likewise the white polos, although this is not essential. The summer dress will also be red only. Other items such as trousers, shorts, skirts and pinafores should be grey or black.
Children who have green uniforms can grow out of them or wear them out before transitioning to new red jumpers/cardigans/dresses. The transition period will last for the academic year 2021 and children will wear the new uniform by September 2022.
Children should wear PE kits to school on their class PE days. Kit comprises trainers, a house-coloured, Stanley-branded t-shirt, and black tracksuit bottoms/ shorts/ leggings/ skorts. Children can wear the new black PE Hoodie, or a normal school jumper/cardigan over their kit on PE days, but should not wear other random track suit tops.
FOSP keep a stock of ‘pre-loved’ uniform. We are hoping that later in the year, if you have a green jumper of cardigan, they will offer a swap for a red one (where stocks permit on a first come, first served basis). FOSP hold pre-loved uniform sales throughout the year but if you need anything between the sales please email your requirements to email@example.com
We offer a range of branded extras. None of these items will be compulsory, but we would ask that you consider these when purchasing additional items such as fleeces, rucksacks and sunhats. This will make all of our pupils look much smarter when travelling to and from school.
Please clearly name ALL items of uniform, even if you feel the items are distinctive, so that found items can be returned.
Our school uniform comprises red or emerald green sweatshirts or cardigans, red or white polo shirts and grey or black skirts/pinafore dresses/trousers. Uniform is available by ordering online from our uniform provider Skoolkit
Covid restrictions permitting, Skoolkit hold sales in school towards the end of the Summer Term, and FOSP organise second-hand uniform sales throughout the year - dates will be published in the school's weekly newsletter.
From Year 1 upwards, Stanley has a House system and children wear t-shirts in the colour of their house..Our 6 Houses are named after the most recent Olympic host cities. We aim to place siblings in the same House as each other. House Captains are elected each term – a girl and a boy from Year 6 for each. House Points are awarded for behaviour, manners, effort, achievement, and inter-house games/sports. The winning House is announced during Celebration Assembly each Friday, and there is an overall winner at the end of each term. The children’s PE t-shirts correspond with their House colours. These are available with the school logo from Skoolkit, our uniform provider, but are not a requirement; we just ask that children wear a t-shirt of the appropriate colour for PE lessons and sports days. Details of our Houses and colours are as follows:
Name tags on uniform, sports kit, coats and bags
We strongly recommend that you put your child's name on uniform, sports kit, coats and bags, even if the items are distinctive. We collect a significant amount of unmarked items in "Lost property" every term - if these items are marked/named they can be returned to you/your child.
If you are wanting name tags please consider using My Nametags (click this link to visit their website) as the school will receive a donation for each order placed at no cost to you. Please ensure you enter the school ID 8764 when checking out.
