Extract from Mr Hawley’s letter dated 16 April:

“The teachers have been working hard and have prepared the next two weeks (from 20 April) of home learning. Those pupils in the EYFS (Pre-School and Reception) will continue to use ‘Tapestry’ as a way for teachers to set tasks for pupils to complete and parents can share learning for teachers to respond. We have had some excellent feedback about this and it seems to be working successfully. We will also be providing a range of other resources and websites that will help your children to keep up to date with things like phonics and reading.

In other year groups (Years 1 to 6), we are now moving to an on-line system that is available through the LGfL MyUSO login. It is called ‘My Homework’. This will allow teachers to set work for your children and will allow children to upload it when complete. It will also enable teachers to provided feedback on tasks and check that tasks are being completed.”
