  • Stanley holds 30th annual Charities Day

    Fri 27 Mar 2015
Stanley staff, volunteers and children took part in our 30th annual Charities Day yesterday, Thursday 26 March 2015. This is a unique day when our whole school community is involved in fundraising for selected charities. All the children took part and found very ingenious ways to raise money, within their year group, throughout the day. Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children wore Easter bonnets and pupils in Years 2-6 dressed up in the theme ‘British wildlife/ spring’. Ms Flude and Mr Glover agreed to go pink for charity- see attached photos!

We had a fantastic turnout from children and staff dressing up for today’s World Book Day celebrations, and enjoyed a sunny parade of costumes after drop-off.
