Arts Week saw all children from Reception to Year 6 creating some very impressive art which was then showcased in our Art Exhibition on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 February.

Mr Dickinson, who was particularly proud of Stanley's artists said: "I am always amazed by the creativity of our children and I know visitors to the exhibition were impressed not just by the individual pieces of artwork but by the scale of the exhibition.
 

As with all events of this nature they do not “just happen” and I would like to thank staff and parents for their help and support that enabled our children to unleash their creativity in such a spectacular way. The theme for this year was “One For All” and the extended Stanley community certainly did come together as “one” to produce a memorable week of activities and a fitting finale with the amazing exhibition.
 

My final thank you goes to our children who are such accomplished artists … I was very proud to see the quality of your work and your lovely and inventive displays!"

The eagerly awaited, by both parents and children, Year 1 and Year 2 Sleepover took place on Friday 25 January.

Great fun was had by all and the children did sleep ... eventually!
