  • Thank you to FOSP

    Fri 18 Dec 2015

As the year draws to a close, we would like to say a very big thank you to the whole FOSP team for your tremendous efforts in organising and managing our school fundraising events. As our school grows we take on new and exciting fundraising initiatives, and none of this would be possible without the tireless support of our FOSP volunteers. This term alone, £11,700 has been raised for the school- a fantastic achievement. There is a tremendous spirit of enthusiasm, cooperation and drive in the FOSP team, and we are really looking forward to a fun and exciting schedule of activities in the new year. Thank you!

  • Mince pies for volunteers today

    Fri 18 Dec 2015

We would like to invite anyone who has helped in school this term to join us for tea or coffee and a mince pie today at 14.45.  So many activities and events at Stanley would not be possible without the help and support of all our volunteers, so please come along and let us thank you. Please let the school office know if you are able to come.

  • Thanks for the shoeboxes!

    Tue 15 Dec 2015

A big thank you to all those Stanley families who have kindly donated to The Rotary Club of Teddington & The Hamptons' Shoebox Scheme this Christmas. The charity provides gifts of shoeboxes containing useful items, such as toys, items for teenagers and household goods, to people who live in poverty in Eastern Europe. Our office is overflowing with gifts!

  • Stanley pupil wins photographic award

    Thu 10 Dec 2015

We would like to congratulate Cassius S (6S), who has just won the ‘Richmond and Kingston U12 Young Photographer of the Year 2015’ award in the ‘Portrait’ category, for a portrait he took of his brother and sister (main picture). The award has been launched by photographers Sheridan Morley and Philip Hollis, who run Click Photography workshops, in conjunction with Kingston and Richmond Councils and Royal Parks.

Cassius attended the awards evening and exhibition of entries yesterday at Orleans House Gallery. He is seen receiving his award from Richard Smith, Deputy Head of Trafalgar Primary School, and one of the competition judges. Cassius won a Pentax Bridge camera and a day's excursion to London with Click Photography, which will culminate in a visit to the Daily Telegraph to see the Picture Desk in operation!

The exhibition of entries will be on show at the Rose Theatre, Kingston in January.

    Fantastic achievement- well done!
