  • 'Trash to Treasure': Arts week recycling project launched

    Wed 05 Nov 2014

This year’s school Arts Week will take place w/c 9 February 2015. At Stanley, one of the values in our
values education project is 'Responsibility'. In light of this, this year’s Arts Week will have the focus of
'Trash to Treasure' by recycling and upcycling different objects. In order to fund all the exciting
workshops available, we have decided to start a fundraiser, so that the children have the opportunity to
experience a wide range of these activities.

    How can you help?

We are asking for you to donate all kinds of unwanted items, such as CDs, DVDs, Games, iPhones and Games Consoles. We will then recycle and exchange these goods for money, which will be used to fund Arts Week. (N.B Please make sure that any items donated are in working order. If donating CDs or DVDs, please make sure they come with the matching case). Please drop off any donations at the school office.

For one of our activities during Arts Week, we will be creating some bottle lid artwork. Please can you save up your lids of all materials, colours and sizes, and drop them into the school office or directly to Hollie Kempson (Birch Class teacher). Thank you in advance.
