  • Sports Days

    Mon 25 Jun 2018

Sports Days took  place for all year groups from Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 June.

Well done to all our children they competed well, supported their friends and behaved really well too. All week we have seen well organised and well supported Sports Days … thank you to all involved and a special mention to two groups who made Friday’s Year 2-6 events run like clockwork … these two groups were the Bring a Man to School men and the Waldegrave School sport students.

Thank you too to all the parents who came along to enjoy the sports and the sun!

The final action on Friday was Mr Dickinson announcing the winning House - and it was Beijing with an impressive 7,095 points … congratulations to them!

  • Charities Day

    Fri 15 Jun 2018

Stanley's 34th Annual Charities Day took place in glorious sunshine on Friday 15 June. This annual event sees the whole school raise money for various charities chosen by the children.

This year the charities chosen were: Shooting Star Chase, Save the Children, Water Aid, Save the Bees and Marine Conservation Society.

Children set up stalls and games to raise money and had great fun!

A very impressive bee was made out of coins and children enjoyed both organising their stalls and having a go on other stalls ... many getting wet, changing hair colour or being made up in the process!
