  • Stanley's World Book Day event

    Mon 24 Feb 2014

As part of World Book Day celebrations on Wednesday 5 March 2014, we are giving the children (and grown-ups!) the chance to come to school dressed up as someone, or something, from their favourite book. You may find the following link useful to get ideas for relatively easy-to-make costumes:

    http://www.bookaid.org/get-involved/fundraise/schools/world-book-day-2014/dress_up_resources/.

Children should bring to school a copy of the book that their costume relates to, and show their favourite page from the book. All children will be presented with their World Book Day £1 token. We are not asking for donations for this - it really is just for fun!
