Top Class triumph on TV
Thu 20 Sep 2018Congratulations to Declan, Flynn, Eliza, Mia and Mrs Luing Turnbull who were impressive winners on CBBC's Top Class which was screened on Sunday 16 September.
The children, who were in Year 6 and are now in their senior schools, travelled to Glasgow in May to take part in this quiz show which is hosted by comedian Susan Calman.
The format of the show also includes a round where teachers have to answer ... so well done Mrs LT!
The team won their first match against South Morningside School 40:24 and progressed to the next round which will be screened shortly.

Recorder Awards
Thu 20 Sep 2018Congratulations to James C (6M), Florence N (6M), Sophie C (6M), Eva M (6M), Stephanie D (5LB), Oliver G (5LB), Anusha P (5B), Ursula M (5W) and Gemma R (5W) who took recorder exams in July and they obviously all did very well and were presented with their certificates at the start of Autumn Term.
Marie Bennett, their recorder teacher, said: 'The children all did really well and should be proud of their achievements.'
