Gursimran in 5C gave an impressive presentation to her class about Guru Nanak, why he is important and why his birthday is celebrated.
She explained that Sikhism was founded by a wise man called Guru Nanak who was born in 1469. Guru Nanak is considered the first Sikh Guru. Sikhism is still based on his teachings and those of the nine Sikh Gurus who followed him.
Guru Nanak Gurpurab is a festival celebrating Guru Nanak's birthday which was on Monday 30 November.
Gursimran presented to the class very well and also answered lots of their questions.
