Stanley football teams excel in Brentford Football Cup
The boys’ and girls’ football teams both performed excellently at the Brentford Football Cup tournament on Monday 12 January 2015. The girls faced a very tough all-boys group but played brilliantly, battling every game with a great team spirit. The boys were also in a tough group of 6 other schools. They lost the first game 2-1, then won 8 consecutive games to reach the semi-finals, where they unfortunately lost to the eventual winners. We are very proud of our teams, who were a credit to Stanley.
