As part of Reception’s topic about young animals and exploration pupils went on a trip to Bocketts Farm in April. The boys and girls had lots of fun as well as learning more about the animals they saw as well as how a farm works. The pupils were able to handle some of the animals, helped to milk a goat and enjoyed a tractor ride. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their visit … some even wanted to bring the animals back on the coach!

I liked stroking the rabbit … The goat was the best but I don’t want its milk! … The hens were noisy … I want to be a farmer
