May Fair ... and the sun came out!
The sun shone and hundreds of pupils, parents, families and friends enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Stanley’s May Fair.
Well done to FOSP for organising such a tremendous event and thank-you to everyone who helped on the day and also to everyone who turned up and contributed to raise much needed funds for the school.
The number of stalls and prizes was very impressive as were the range of refreshments … it was such a glorious day that the Ice Cream Van and Pimm’s tent usually had longer queues than the Coffee Shop!
The Display Area and stage hosted many entertaining acts – thank-you to Boundless Dance, Stagecoach, Year 2 Country Dancers and the Stanley Rock Bands. However, some of the biggest cheers on the day greeted the success (or failure!) of Mr Dickinson’s teams in the fiercely contested Tug of War competitions.
