Year 5 – Digging for gold

 

As part of this term’s Alchemy Island project, Year 5 have explored used maps and grid references to explore the island. Stepping through a portal they encountered fantasy fortresses and landscapes. In science they have analysed samples and used the periodic table to support the citizens in decontaminating their water supply. Finally, after writing fabulous gold reports the Alchemist rewarded them with the coordinates to the treasure. They enjoyed digging up their treasure of gold and jewels.
