As part of their “Tribal Tales” Stone Age to Iron Age project, Year 3 visited Butser Ancient Farm in Waterlooville on Tuesday 5 December.
The children learnt about life in ancient times and had Archaeology, Flint wall building, Wattling and Pottery activities during the day. They also made some copper jewellery and experienced life in an ancient round house sat round a fire … an indoor bonfire and very smokey!
