Stanley pupils win 100 books in national reading competition!

Stanley Primary School has been selected to win 100 Pearson books! This was in response to the 'Read for My School' national reading competition, which finished on 28 March 2014. Well done to our 200 participants in Years 3-6. We set a target with the children that we should read 750 books - as a school we read 1,265 books! A brilliant achievement for our children - increasing our enjoyment of books, ensuring books were bought for Tanzania, and adding to our GLOW (Great Love of Words) programme.
