Admissions

Applying for a place at Stanley Primary School

Applications to join Reception in September, or to join any other year group 'in-year', should be submitted to the Richmond Admissions Department.

Applications for Stanley Preschool are managed by the school.

Places in The Peartree Centre, our Resourced Provision, are allocated by Achieving for Children, not the school. Children attending Stanley do not have priority for places in the Peartree Centre.

Please see the Reception, Pre-School, In-year and Peartree sections below for further information about admissions.

If your child has an Education, Health and are Plan (EHCP), please contact your assessment coordinator to discuss your child's school placement.

Pre-School children start in September (of April) for either:

5 mornings a week (08:45 - 11:45),

5 afternoons a week (12.30  - 15.30), or

Full time extended 30 hours, 08:45 - 2:45 / 08:45 - 15:30**

** We are able to provide full time places to working families eligible for Extended 30-hours of funded childcare.  Children attend Monday to Friday 08:45 - 14:45 term-time only.

If you would prefer your child to stay until 15:30 families have the option of paying an extra daily charge which is payable half-termly in advance (Daily charge is currently £6).

Self funded sessions

Parents who are not eligible for 30 hours free child care can supplement the 15 hours by self funding extended hours on a termly basis for one to five sessions per week - please contact the office to discuss your requirements.

Where spaces are available, children who will have turned 3 years old on or before 31st March (Rising 3's) may be able to start in April, the Summer term.
