Learning with Confidence Together
Year 1 were delighted to have been nominated as ‘Lockdown Heroes’ by Elias Mushrif and his family.
This meant that they were rewarded with 15 hot meals from Kingsgate Events and Catering.
The meals were delivered and enjoyed by the Year 1 team.
Sarah Ringland (Year 1 Leader) said: “We were delighted to have been nominated by Elias and his family for this very generous and wonderful lunch. The award was in recognition of the work we did during lockdown but we think all our children and parents deserve a reward too for the brilliant work they have done during these difficult times. We are so delighted to have the children back in school and they are working very hard … we are very proud of their achievements!”
World Book Day was on 4 March this year when a lot of children were not coming into school so we thought it would be lovely if we could all celebrate World Book Day together at school.
We did celebrate on 4 March at home and in school but we all celebrated together when we had World Book Day Take 2 on Friday 19 March.
We think you can never have too many days celebrating books ... we love them!
We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 8 March.
We've made a video that contains some brilliant self portraits done by all the children ... as we could not do our usual Arts Week this is a perfect showcase for our incredible artists. It is something to celebrate the artistic talent of our students and its creation brought us together when we were apart.
We can't wait to see your faces on Monday when we will be "Altogether Now"

Art and French lessons combined to create pictures of where you live or a favourite place in France. The pictures then had to be labelled with the colours and /or use French phrases.
Travail fantastique
It's been a colourful time for Pre-School and Reception with many Rainbow themed activities.
There are so many great rainbow pictures and rainbow fruit kebabs and rainbow bread have been made as well as loose parts rainbows with things found at home.
In science experiments the children 'grew' a rainbow and made fizzy rainbows and rainbows using prisms and torches
Well done Early Years for some brilliant colourful creations!
