We're looking forward to a great day!
Information regarding school clubs availability for spring term will be distributed on Wednesday 25 November 2015 and applications are open from 07.00 on Friday 27 November 2015. Beat the rush and apply online via the ‘Clubs- School-run clubs’ section of this website, which will go live from 07.00 on Friday. Applications will close at 15.30 on Friday 4 December 2015.
We are seeking donations of pre-loved toys and books for our forthcoming Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 6 December 2015. If you have anything to give, please could you ensure that toys are clean and have all their pieces in the same box or fixed together so they can’t be lost. Soft toys are welcome and will be used for the Teddy Tombola.
Please drop contributions off at the school office in strong carrier bags. Many thanks.
Enter our 'Decorate a star' competition for our Christmas Bazaar and you could win a voucher prize! All entries will be displayed on the day and the winning star from each year group will feature on the programme. Get creative with pens, crayons, glitter, stickers (anything goes!) then stick your decorated star to a piece of card (cereal boxes work well) and cut it out on the dotted line, not forgetting to add your name and class on the back. Put your entries in the box marked STAR COMPETITION in the school office by Monday 16 November 2015. Copy of entry form available here.
On Monday 16 November 2015 we will be launching the next value in our values education project, ‘Gentleness’. Some examples of behaviours that demonstrate this value are:
Please could you discuss ‘Gentleness’ with children at home, and explore ways to reinforce it. Each week we will give special certificates to those children who demonstrate good values, and these will be displayed in the office reception area. Please feel free to come and look at them!
Order your child's professionally made Christmas card here! Have you bought your Christmas cards yet? Children from Reception-Year 6 have been working very hard on their own Christmas card designs. What better to way to spread some festive cheer, than by sending a professionally made card completed with your child's own design? At the same time, you will be helping to raise funds for our ever popular Arts week in February.
Sample cards and order forms will be distributed to parents/ carers this week. Please complete and return your order forms by Friday 6 November 2015. Cards will be delivered during the first week in December.
Some children from each year group have been selected to enter two local competitions, and will have their designs displayed in Hampton Hill High Street from Monday 9 November 2015. Keep your eyes peeled for some fantastic designs! Competition entries include:
