Uniform

School Uniform

You will find a list of items available on the Skoolkit website - www.skoolkit.co.uk

Our school uniform comprises a red sweatshirt or cardigan and a white polo shirt. We would prefer sweats and cardigans to have the Stanley logo. Likewise the white polos, although this is not essential. During warmer weather the summer dress is red gingham. Other items such as trousers, shorts, skorts, skirts and pinafores should be grey or black.

PE Kit

Children in Years 1 to 6 should wear PE kits to school on their class PE days. Kit comprises trainers, a house-coloured and Stanley-branded t-shirt, and black tracksuit bottoms/ shorts/ leggings/ skort. Children can wear the new black PE Hoodie (optional), or a normal school jumper/cardigan over their kit on PE days, but should not wear other random track suit tops.

FOSP ‘Pre-Loved’ (second hand) Uniforms

FOSP keep a stock of ‘pre-loved’ uniform. We are hoping that later in the year, if you still have a green jumper of cardigan, they will offer a swap for a red one (where stocks permit on a first come, first served basis). FOSP hold pre-loved uniform sales throughout the year but if you need anything between the sales please email your requirements to uniform@stanleyfosp.co.uk

Branded Extras

We offer a range of branded extras. None of these items are compulsory, but we would ask that you consider these when purchasing additional items such as fleeces, rucksacks and sunhats. This will make all of our pupils look much smarter when travelling to and from school.

Please name ALL items

Please clearly name ALL items of uniform, even if you feel the items are distinctive, so that found items can be returned.

Skoolkit usually hold sales in school towards the end of the Summer Term, and FOSP organise second-hand uniform sales throughout the year - dates will be published in the school's weekly newsletter.

PE kit and House system

From Year 1 upwards, Stanley has a House system and children wear t-shirts in the colour of their house. Our 4 houses are named after local parks and rivers: Bushy, Crane, Home and Thames. We aim to place siblings in the same house as each other. House Captains are elected each term – a girl and a boy from Year 6 for each. House Points are awarded for good behaviour, manners, effort, achievement, and inter-house games/sports. The winning house is announced during Celebration Assembly each Friday, and there is an overall winner at the end of each term. The children’s PE t-shirts correspond with their house colours. These are available with the school logo from Skoolkit, our uniform provider. Details of our Houses and colours are as follows:

  • Bushy: Green
  • Crane: Yellow
  • Home: Red
  • Thames: Blue

All children should wear black shorts (or track pants when cold) for PE. A Stanley hoodie (black with logo) can be worn over kit on PE days but is optional. If not wearing a black hoodie children may wear uniform sweatshirts/cardigans over their kit.

Name tags on uniform, sports kit, coats and bags

We strongly recommend that you put your child's name on uniform, sports kit, coats and bags, even if you feel the items are distinctive. We collect a significant amount of unmarked items in the Lost property cupboard - if these items are marked/named they can be returned to you/your child.

If you would like to buy name tags please consider using My Nametags as the school will receive a donation for each order placed at no cost to you. Please ensure you enter the school ID 8764 when checking out.

We have limited Preschool places available for September 2024, to register your interest go to About Us / Admissions * * * * * If you have a safeguarding concern about a child please contact the Single Point of Access on 020 8547 5008
