Open Mornings

Children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026 and would welcome families to attend one of our open morning events listed below.

The open mornings will commence at 09.30 for approximately 90 minutes. Our Headteacher, Mr Hawley will start with a presentation followed by a tour of the school with Year 6 pupils, during which Mr Hawley and other members of the Leadership Team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The mornings are intended for adults but you are welcome to bring your child if you would otherwise be unable to attend.

Application Process

• Applications for primary school places can be submitted at the eAdmissions website starting between Monday 1 September 2025 and Thursday 15 January 2026.
• You must apply through the local authority which is responsible for administering the council tax for your home, even if you intend to name a school located in another area.
• You can list up to six schools in order of preference and are encouraged to put your first choice of school as your first option. 

The deadline for the receipt of applications is 15 January 2026. 

Applications for entry into Reception class at Stanley Primary School will be handled in line with the Local Authority co-ordinated admission arrangements.
