Year 6 in CBBC quiz Top Class
A Year 6 team travelled to Glasgow this week to compete in the popular CBBC quiz Top Class hosted by Susan Calman.
Eliza in Year 6 came up with the idea of entering Top Class. Following a rigorous application process and interviews, which included general knowledge questions, with the production company, the team were selected to appear in the quiz and filming took place in Glasgow w/c 21 May and will be screened later this year.
The team have been revising and “training” for both the quiz and their SATS! Their SATS are over now and they are looking forward to the competition.
This is what they said:
'I'm exhilarated and exceptionally excited; I'm extremely eager for the experience to begin. However, bubbling under the surface are, of course, the nerves which are causing several butterflies to flutter in my stomach.' - Eliza
'I'm extremely excited about having the chance to be able to participate in this show and represent my school.' - Declan
