All students have a diagnosis of autism. They have access to a broad and balanced curriculum, including the National Curriculum. This is supported with an IEP (Individual Education Plan) set with parents and the multi-disciplinary team.
There are three classes. Each student, within each class, has links to a mainstream class within Stanley Primary school. The class leaders (Behaviour Analyst or Qualified teacher) within the Peartree Centre, link with the mainstream class teachers to communicate about planning and curriculum in order to effectively personalise and differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of the pupils. This enables meaningful inclusion and may be for social inclusion or for academic inclusion, or indeed, for both.
